Terminal commands

will be updating this Article every time i know a new command in Mac terminal or Ubuntu terminal, let me start with the basics:

  1. sudo -> gives you administrative rights on the command you are executing.
  2. ls -> Lists all files and folders in current directory.
  3. cp -> copy files and folders
  4. mv -> Move files and folders, also used to rename.
  5. Find -> Find files and folders based on alot of options “-name -type -size”
  6. grep -> find  text in file and can be combined with FIND command.
